I disagree about Blade Runner.  I still prefer the theatrical cut with the voiceover.   It flows better and makes a hell of a lot more sense.

That's because you're incapable of free thought.  Watch the director's cut, and make up your own mind about what it means.

What the hell?

:-D

Sorry, drunk and pissed at the wife ain't a great way to post.
But the point is still valid.  The director's cut leaves the viewer more leeway to decide what it means.  I'm not looking for agreement on the ending, just think it's more interesting when the ending is debatable.
Anyone but Reid.

I saw Hancock yesterday.  Not bad.  It could have been far cooler if they had spent the effort in a lot of small ways, but I didn't regret dropping nine bucks.  Charlize Theron is a beautiful woman.

Saw it this evening. Agreed on all points.

Watched Before the Devil Knows You're Dead. There were some fantastic things about it, but somehow it was less than the sum of its parts. In the end it wasn't a great movie despite some great performances and a really good story.

Marisa Tomei should have started getting naked a long time ago. Goddamn that old woman is fine.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

That movie was pretty good I agree though it did seem like it was missing something.  And Tomei is hot as farg in that movie.

i felt the same way...and i think the reason is that since pulp fiction debuted using narrative interuptus has been driven into the ground to the point now that everytime a movie is made in that back n forth time travel style that youve felt as if youve already seen it
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

especially for this one, every time they went to someone else's storyline, they overlapped the story so you ended up watching parts 3 or 4 times and it got a little boring
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

I heard "Vantage Point" is basically the worst-case scenario of this type of movie.  It's about 15 minutes of movie all-told in reality.  Anyone actually seen it yet and can confirm/deny?

It's in my Blockbuster queue.  But if this is true, it will soon be removed.
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

FF, this is the 3rd time you've asked about this movie, you know that right? Put the bottle of wine down with your wife, buck up the $2.99 and rent the thing for christ's sake--you know you want to see it

It's in the queue.  I just need to know if I should bury it near the bottom.

You shouldn't bother to weigh in, though.  Your opinion doesn't rate.

Can I weigh in on this gem? please?

Would a pregnant woman flying US Airways out of Philly be subject to child abuse laws for subjecting her unborn fetus to the horrific experience?

Why does every topic on which you opine become riddled with your attempts at wit?  :CF had some problems staying on-topic regardless, but you really take us to new heights.

No, it's not a good thing.  Your shtick is really, really tired.

Now post your full critical review of "Hancock."

Haha...you're kidding me right? 95% of your blurbs/comment is a struggling attempt at humor...please kid

PoopyfaceMcGee

So, you didn't see "Hancock," then?

How about "Kitt Kitredge?"
