there might be a baseball league, but i don't want to travel to play

i'm in an 17 team league that covers 4 towns around me.

not sure why it bothers you so much.  men's fast pitch is not odd, there are state tournaments and national tournaments for it.

Doesn't bother me at all...I am just looking out for the high school girl teams that you're playing against.

Balls can be fractured?!

I always wore a cup. Once while playing on turf after it rained I took a short hop right in the sack and it cracked the cup. Talk about being scared like hell.

I took a foul tip in the cup that cracked it.  Damn thing hurt like hell - I can only imagine (and wince) what it would have been like without one.

I'd probably be without my two children, that's for sure.

Oh yeah, even with one it hurt like hell. I was gun shy for about 2 weeks after that.
