it's a different company making it, it was inevitable that it was going to be a letdown

Both my kids saved their B-Day/holiday money and worked around the house to save up for their own Nintendo DS. They got them last night and I can't wait till they go to sleep at night so I can play with the thing.... I'm sad....

as sun said, they have Treytarch taking over this one, and Infinity Ward wont be back until the next one.  The good thing is they are going to use the same engine that Infinity Ward had in COD4, the real question is how much they make the MP like cod4 imo.

I really liked the NCAA Demo.  Graphics dont seem as Shiney as they were before.  Passing seems easier for some reason.  I really like the Bluff option when looking at your play.  I put in last years NCAA and nearly lost to Temple as PSU on Heisman level.

Sun, looks like last years rosters dont work anymore because in one of the updates, EA changed some of the players(added people to the game) and i think that corrupts the files.  As far as rosters, it looks like Fairdale Kings are now going to charge for the rosters where before it was always free, either way i'm doing it.

I'd bet your kids lives they get leaked all over the internet once they get produced.  farg them though, they were all about not making a profit for years other than if you wanted it on a memory card, now they are charging 9 bucks.

Found this on a gaming site when i ripped FK

QuoteNo he's actually not. Some guy (forget his name) bought FK's domain name and didn't tell him that he planned to sell the rosters from there. FK is operating w/ a few others at a new site called www.freencaa09rosters.com

This year, BY NO MEANS SHOULD ANYONE PAY FOR ROSTERS, especially w/ the EA locker feature implemented you can get them from anyone who has them w/ out even being on their friend list.

PASS THE WORD!!

One other thing, apparently with the EA Locker feature this year, i can send the Roster to people via XBL?  We'll see if it works, but if it does, thats awesome

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots - I'm playing through this right now and this may be quite possibly the best game I've ever played in my life.  Kinda sucks that this is the final game in the MGS series, but damn... they're going out on top.

One of the best series of all-time. What act are you up to and have you played the other games? I'm asking for a reason. If you got to Act 4 you already know what I'm talking about then.  ;D

I've played every part of every MGS game ever made... other than the Acid series on the PSP.  I finished MGS4 last week so I've seen the whole thing.  Which scene are you talking about?

Ahh... you're talking about the return to Shadow Moses, huh?  That was pretty hilarious.  It threw me off at first because I was walking around, waiting for the game to snap back to normal or something.  Jesus... that was a different game then on the PS.

How far are you in the game?  Have you fought Screaming Mantis yet?  There's actually a few funny parts there as well.

Yea, the whole return, not just the flashback. They played the original music from MGS and just going back to Shadow Moses was awesome. A lot of nostalgia there.

I beat the game a couple weeks ago. it was a lot of fun. Screaming Mantis was funny. I also liked the part in Shadow Moses when Otacon tells you to change discs, like back in MGS.

Overall it was a great game. Did you finish it yet? The whole ending sequence was really good.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

Yeah, I finished it... playing through it again now, trying for the Big Boss emblem... and funny enough, I'm about to go through Shadow Moses again.  It definitely was great to go back through there again... really nostalgic.  I love how they recreated it in MSG4 exactly how it was in MSG1... but it really did feel like a long forgotten base.  Like a ghost town.  Speaking of Mantis... did you try to switch controllers again?  Funny how they tell you that doesn't work this time around.

The ending was great... it built a ton of tension leading up to the climax and I got chills fighting Liquid on top of Outer Haven.  I love how they took you through the entire series in one epic fight.  They literally beat the shtein out of each other.

I found out about all kinds of easter eggs and hidden jewels in this thing... like corpse face and body camo which makes the PMC cower and run from you when they see your face, B+B , Raiden, Drebin, Campbell face camos... whole lot of shtein.  Deep doesn't even begin to describe this game.  Hideo Kojima is a farging genius.  I just hope somehow he decides to do another one.

Yea, I want another one too, but I would hope it would be another prequel, because it was ended so perfect. Another game after MGS4's timeline would kinda hurt the ending.

I loved the end fight with Liquid too. I loved how each stage had song from MGS1,2, and 3.

Also the gear fight was just a ton of fun too. I redid it a few times just to use all the different gadgets it has.

I kinda wished they ... showed Snake go out in the ending though. I mean, it is cool that he ended up living, and I love Snake as a character. He only has 6 months left I think it was said. If there is another Metal Gear game and even if there isn't, it is a shame that you couldn't see one of the best all-time video characters go out in a blaze of glory and not die off-screen.

Final Fantasy 13 will be an Xbox 360 exclusive

They unveiled Resident Evil 5, Gears of War 2, Fallout 3, and Fable 2 at E3 this afternoon. Very impressive.
