it's impossible to watch this team when all 8 starters are in an offensive slump.  Howard had a decent day but not scoring in the 1st then falling behind 3-0 in the 2nd killed them.  Taguchi can burn in hell....another f'ing Cardinal castoff that hasn't done sht for us.

9-game road trip to Oakland/Texas/Atlanta coming up, while the Marlins, Mets and Braves play at home.  If Florida wins today, they take over 1st place by percentage points....

Florida lost 7-1, so they only gained 2 games on the Phils this week.  If there's any good news, they're heading home to face Tampa Bay and Arizona...

i was shteintin when Bruntlett headed for second.  wtf was with that call?  this team is in deep dodo.  just a terrible series with the halos.

Phils are the frontrunners to get Brian Fuentes. They will give up Fabio Castro in return.

He's been having a great season, doesn't walk anyone and would possibly replace Gordon in the 8th inning role.

I'm fine with the move, it's just that the bullpen is not this teams problem. I hope they don't simply get Fuentes and then say that he's the missing piece. But that's what's most likely to happen.

Speaking of not watching, I will not get to see the games against Texas. Why? Because Bud Selig and his brigade of idiots deem me to be in a blackout area for Arlington. 4 hours away.
