Hannah Storm is leaving CBS to join ESPN SportsCenter's 9am-noon shift in August.  Apparently they're ditching the repeats and going with something similar to ESPNEWS from 6am through 3pm...

... and fired Fred Hickman in the process.

Was he on SC that much?  I remember him more from the 11pm CNN sports highlights shows he did about 17 years ago

How would you remember that?

I doubt his own mother remembers that.

ABC schedule remains largely unchanged.

Lost and Scrubs are both midseason shows, that's really about it.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

oh my god the office and the wire together at last.

MDS

it seems like shes joining the cast, or at least will be a character who pops in every now and then.

toby had to be written out because the guy who plays him is going to running the show next year. greg daniels, who previously ran the show, is going to be forming the spin-off and wont be as visible on day to day stuff.

average finale. it was funny, the dwight/angela thing at the end was great, but the baby plot device is soooo played out in sitcoms its just irritating to jump to it, and the jim/pam thing must be dragged out even more now. hooray.

meanwhile, lost was great. they know how not farg up a finale.

Agree.  It was average, but I still love the show.  The new chick digs Michael, but he didn't see it.  Kevin being a 'tard was hilarious.  Angela/Dwight at the end was also great, especially being found by a co-worker.  Jim and Pam - Yawn.  The Ryan going to jail angle was fun, too.  I expected it would have been for his coke habit, but now I think Jim turned him in - which is why he gloated.

All in all, 4/5.  All episodes are at least a 3.5/5, so even though it was a great show, it was simply average when compared to the rest of the series.
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

SunMo

average describes every episode of the office now...the opening yesterday with Jim farging with Dwight's fun was the funniest part of the entire show

I like pie.

Kevin the 'tard was by far the funniest part.
