I'm not sure what's worse. IGY's bombastic hyperbole, or the flocking masses who insist on responding with deadly seriousness to everything he posts.

I'm pretty sure the endless responses and I-Told-You-So attitudes are the worse of the two.

stop. IGY is king of the I told you so responses.

And IGY, while I don't have time to look through this thread, I distinctly remember you saying that Obama wouldn't win the nomination.

Sure, but the fact that he inspires so many of you to jump all over everything he says is ridiculous. Easy to fall into, but ridiculous.

Go Rush...

QuoteConversely, the significance of Clinton's victory in Indiana was undermined by indications that a statistically significant number of Republicans, perhaps as many as 7 percent of all the votes cast, were following the suggestion of conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh to cast ballots for her in the Democratic primary.
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

I saw that this morning. Which actually gives me a lot more hope for Obama's chances in November.

i just said at some points along the way i definitely doubted whether he could win it or not...i also said along the way not to count hillary out and that it wasnt 100% over like you and cervent were saying three months ago...to much can happen in politics in a short time much less months and months

but i didnt make some blanket statement saying he wouldnt/couldnt ever win it like i believe with the presidency

and of course if i make a call that is correct ill say it...who doesnt...its why people debate and make predictions...welcome to life

at the same time if im wrong im the first to say it and im also the first to give credit to other people who are on top of shtein....

what i dont do is reach and stretch to ridiculous lengths to try and find that "gotcha" moment like you and wing do

i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

IGY, your gotcha moments overun everyone else's. Stop playing innocent.

And I love Mitt Romney this morning claiming that Hillary is a much more formidable opponent than Obama. He was nauseating to listen to on MSNBC.

i'm in super ring wing eastern tennessee at the moment, and the talk radio around here makes me want to vomit.

the headline on one of the news station as i was in my car said something like "hillary continues her rise to the democratic nomination.  obama gains 90 delegates while hillary gains 70.  those aren't the exact numbers obviously, but obama got more yet somehow they're saying this is a big win for hillary.  the fact that all these uber ring wingers are really rooting for hillary makes me realize how scared they all are of barry.

IMO she is.  Obama getting 90+% of the black vote in a DEMOCRATIC primary makes him look much better than he will be in the general.  Not to many black republicans and independents to help keep those numbers up in Nov.   The black vote and very liberal white vote beat Hillary.  Luckily for Obama he faces a very week Republican candidate and many republicans will stay home.

i saw a poll today that over 70% of obama backers would vote for hillary against the republicans but only a little over 40% of hillary backers would vote for obama.  this doesn't make any sense to me.  i wish i could say race isn't a factor in that but i'm not sure what else it could be.

rjs246

People are idiots and the Democratic party is in shambles. Stats like that don't surprise me at all anymore.
