Maybe they'll take Scott Young for a 2nd rounder next year.

Good point.  He was a DT in college.

Buffalo getting paid $78 million (canadian) to play 8 home games in Toronto over the next 5 years

QuoteThe Buffalo Bills will receive C$78 million - more than double their calculated 2006 operating income - to play eight games in Toronto over the next five years.

welcome your 2014 Toronto Bills!
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

Rome

meh - it's like the eagles moving to trenton.  big whoop.

MDS

Even though it's Canada, it's still better than Buffalo.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Toronto is better than many nearby U.S. cities, most notably Buffalo and Detroit.

rjs246

I for one would welcome a road trip to Toronto. Strippers and shtein.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

Buffalo really made out on that deal, since the value of the CAD has gone up about 15% since they started negotiating.
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

Rome

sorry for the confusion.  i meant distance-wise, like if lurie had built the new stadium closer to trenton than in south philly.  i wasn't comparing trenton to philly in any way or even toronto to buffalo.  although toronto >>>>>>>>>> buffalo in every conceivable way.

Cerevant

There are disadvantages to a roadie in Tronto:
  • You get treated like a criminal at the border
  • 13% Sales Tax

  • Not that I'd be complaining any...
