ice grillin you

cause they are pompous aholes and wanna have the opportunity to say to everyone "we told you so" and they also wanna look like genuises which is why they forevere are trying to hit on undrafted free agents

this whole draft was complete weakness and the only thing that saves it is the excellent trade they made with carolina but really that has nothing to do with the players they got this year

About 26 out of 30 teams use something called Scouts, Inc, (I think) for the draft which is a private scouting firm that provides ratings and information. 2 of the teams that don't, and maintain a larger scouting staff are the Patriots and the Ravens. These two teams, Ravens especially, always kill in every '5 years later' objective draft analysis. They consistenly get more value out of their 2nd day picks than almost anyone.

the eagles use this scouting service, BTW.

all scouts inc stuff can be found on espn.com...so in other words most of the nfl gets their player info from espns website

The extent to which each team uses independent scouting varies, though.  It makes sense to use it as input, but it's not like they don't make changes where they've done some of their own evaluation.

For instance, Andy Studebaker was not that high on the Scouts, Inc big board.

Sorry, not Scouts, Inc., some other service only available to NFL teams:
QuoteYou want to hear an amazing stat? Entering last season, 74.2 percent (46 of 62) of the players Baltimore drafted since 1999 were on an NFL roster. And yes, that's best in the NFL. Why so much success? The Ravens are one of six teams that do not belong to scouting services used by the rest of the league. Instead, their scouts do all the work. And then there's 36-year-old Eric DeCosta, the director of college scouting. He's the NFL's version of Theo Epstein (sans monkey suit). DeCosta has been with the team since 1996, learned under Phil Savage and Ozzie Newsome, and when Savage left for Cleveland, he was promoted. And apparently, he's pretty good at his job.
