As a LB and FS on defense, recorded 200 tackles, 15 sacks and 1 INT. Earned SuperPrep All-America and all-state honors as a senior. Was named first-team all-district in basketball as a junior and senior, and also lettered in track. Finished second in the state long jump competition as a junior and was third in both the long jump and triple jump at the state championships as a senior. In 2005, transferred from Butler County (KS) Community College, where he went 34-820-5TD receiving for a team that advanced to the NJCAA championship game. A native of Miami, FL, he is a product of Booker T. Washington HS, where he caught 42 passes for 710 yards and 8 TDs a senior. Earned a degree in sociology. Born 1/6/85 in Miami.
