An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

according to the chart the jags just made a steal of a trade.  the difference in points between 8 & 26 is 700 points and the jags only gave up slightly more than 300 to go up that high.
