If D.C.'s surrounding areas are less racist than Philadelphia's then I dunno. You tell me. Maybe more of the Eagle's fans come from Philly proper? It could be, but I doubt it. How many folks viewing this thread are living in Philadelphia?

MDS

all the blacks in the philly area live in philly itself, delaware county and montgomery country. barry won the first 2 and the third was a virtual split. please please please please die. please.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

perhaps you should tackle your own racist tendacies and ask your self why you root for a disgusting organization whose foundation was built on racist attitudes and continues to this day before you go around the country examining other areas

Ok, so you choose dishonor. That's ok. I'm alright with that.

PoopyfaceMcGee

Joe Gibbs is basically Pat Robertson with a few rings.

It's like sunshine beaming through my window when IGY decries racism.  It makes me that happy.
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

I was listening to Rush Limbaugh today, for about 30 minutes. He was talking about a thing has, or thinks he has going called, Project Chaos. He has told his viewers to re-register as democrats and vote for Clinton so she wins the primary, because he thinks thats the best chance that republicans have to win the election. He feels thats why she took PA.

I swear, not only is the man going deaf, he's also going crazy.

BLAME IT ON PROJECT CHAOS!

What was the breakdown in Chester County?

There was some soccer Mom sitting behind the 1B dug out during the Mets Phils Sunday nighter flashing a Hillary sign. Seeing that drove me crazy. Not only because I hate those attention whores who do whatever to get on camera during baseball games (John Allen Mohammed to the rescue please), but thinking of all the soccer moms unifying to vote for Hillary made me even madder. They'll vote simply because she's a chick,

MDS

barry beat her by 10 pts in chester

good break down of county votes and district votes, shows that barry gets votes in the right places and that clinton is king in republican territory.

Hmmm... Chester County seems to be trending towards the Democrats.  Growing up there, it was a Republican stronghold.

PhillyPhreak54

I thought so too. But it was noticeable during the last election that it was swinging to the donkey.

I asked my partner in my scm class lastnight who he voted for and he said re-registered democrat to vote for Clinton but only to benefit McCain. I guess I see where that came from.

I have to agree that was a farg-up.  All the news I heard said that Obama could win the state if he got a big enough turn-out in Philly.  That being said, delagates are being awarded in part by county results, so he could have theoretically won the popular vote and lost the delegate race.
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.
