wow, 42 seconds in and the Flyers lead the Ovechkins 1-0.  Farg the Ovechkins.

Flyers were outplayed that period and got away with at least 2 penalties (Ovechkin being crosschecked from behind away from the puck, high stick to Cook that would have been a 4 minuter), but the bottom line is its tied. Caps definitely have raised their level of play so now its up to the Flyers to match.

I like the chippy play but they still have to be smart. Briere is negating his good play with bad penalties.

Biron almost scored on himself in a tie game and 20 seconds in regulation. They have had alot of sloppy play in front of their own net tonight. Got a gift call with that golie interference.

That interference call was pathetic.  Should have been no call at all.
