Hatcher game-time decision
Defenseman Derian Hatcher has been given the clearance to play tonight in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals and will be a game-time decision.

"I feel real good and I did get the go-ahead. While you actually never know, it's my assumption that I am playing," he said this morning.

"I haven't played for a while and I know the pace will be very, very high and very, very competitive. If I didn't feel good than I wouldn't say I could play. But I'm feeling good right now."

Always cagey before games, coach John Stevens wouldn't commit.

"He skated yesterday for quiet a length of time and felt good," Stevens said. "We're going to be a game-time decision with him, but he will take warmups and then we'll decide if he's going to play or not.

"He feels good, he feels like he's strong again. He's got good jump and his timing is back, so he's getting real close."

Bringing Hatcher back will mean that one of the six defensemen who dressed Sunday will sit.
