Since I havent pointed and laughed in a while, one more:

Where is Sean Taylor on taterskins.com?

When I log on, I always come through the team page portal. When logging on, I noticed that Sean Taylor was no longer in the corner. I thought that his image there would be a permanent memorial. Was I wrong? Were other decisions made? I would like to see it be made permanent, wouldn't you?

he should be in the hall of fame... hes the first all pro athlete killed during a season.

hes not a terrell davis who got hurt. he was robbed not by his body, but criminals... and that should be documented in the hall of fame. **** being pc, thats just the appropriate thing to do.

Jerome Brown should be in the Hall of Fame! He's the first 2 time all-pro to flip a corvette! He wasn't robbed of a career by his body! He got robbed because he drove a vette like an idiot on wet roads with his little nephew in the car!

Washington taterskins Pledge to Help Native American Groups



The Washington taterskins announced today that the team will donate five percent of stadium firewater sales to Native American groups. The organization hopes the move will deflect mounting pressure to change their nickname in light of the NCAA's decision on American Indian names and mascots.

"Indians across the country should know that the Washington taterskins organization will support them and their savage culture to the death, even if that death should come because of scalping," said Stiffy Johnson.

"That's why five percent of firewater sales at FedEx Field this year will go to Indian organizations, which I think most everyone would agree is more than generous since these people all own casinos nowadays."

In addition to the donation from beer sales, the team will offer several ways for fans to donate money. They will be able to pay $5 at various booths around the stadium to toss a hatchet at the head of a blond settler girl mannequin. Another $5 will get fans a Washington taterskins game program written in Tonto-like syntax and grammar. "Jose Canseco. Write good. He like Guns. Many Home runs. Write new book. Me like, Kemosabe."

"Anyone who would still make the ludicrous claims that the taterskins name demeans Indians is completely hopeless. We obviously seek to honor them in everything we do," said Stiffy. "The taterskins are very respectful of coloreds of all hues."

Sean would be 25 on April 1, 2008, R.I.P. Sean Taylor the greatest to ever do it.  Lets celebrate for him down here.

Today Sean Taylor should be celebrating his birthday with his friends and family. For those of us still mourning the loss of ST, today might be a difficult day. I am choosing to take the approach of celebrating his life today. He was an amazing football player and he transformed himself to become an amazing man. Sean, thank you for gracing us with your presence here on earth for 24 years. I wish you could be turning 25 today, but we are lucky that you were here at all.

You're in my heart, Sean! My thoughts also go out to Sean's parents; to both Jackies; to the rest of Sean's family, and to Clinton, Santana, and all of Sean's other close friends.

(In case anyone is about to jump on me for starting another thread about ST, people frequently remember the deceased on their birthday and the anniversary of their death. Today should be a day to think about Sean a little extra, if you choose to do so. If that's not your style, please don't criticize anyone who handles things differently, and let others remember him in their own way.)
