As we expected, the announcement that free-agent tight end/fullback/H-back Kris Wilson is meeting with the Eagles soon will be followed by an announcement that he has agreed to terms.

Though the announcement has not yet been made, Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that a deal is done for the former Chiefs draft pick, who was stuck for four years behind Tony Gonzalez. We'd previously heard that it will be a three-year contract.

We've also heard that Wilson's primary position in Philly might end up being fullback, and that his choice of jersey numbers could reflect that.

I would agree with you, but what the hell was the point signing KLECKO OMG HE'S CUT?!?!! who is about as athletic as a bowling ball.  Of course that could be a purely STs move.

i still think its 50/50 (probably less now) whether klecko makes the team...but regardless he wont play the same role as klecko...i see wilson as a chris cooley type h back...and in two te sets in the red zone with lj as another receiving option

I don't see how both could make the team.  There is no way the Eagles are designating three roster spots to fullbacks.
