An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

I was pulling for Temple but oh well they got their asses handed to them. kudos for at least making it.

"There a lot of people that go to college for 7 years."

So, since PSU beat MSU and MSU beat Temple, PSU had the better basketball team this year.

it was depressing. oh well. on to next year.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I was really close to picking them as an upset on my bracket.  But I didn't.

I picked 14 games right yesterday (Temple and Baylor being my two incorrect picks) but one guy in my pool picked 15 of them.  He picked Winthrop over Wash St and also had Winthrop making it to the Elite 8.  I had Temple and Baylor both losing in the next round so getting them wrong didn't really hurt me.
