I was also gone on September 24th, the final week to 10 days of the Phillies season.

Get Cataldi gone, he's the curse. He arrived in 1983, before the confetti was even swept up off of Broad after the Sixers parade. No championship since.

He deserves better than that. He is the only reason this team was anything in the early 2000s and brought millions to Ed Snider with his presence alone.

i feel what youre saying but tonight is for the fans to honor him not the team...they are in the middle of a playoff race and hes the enemy tonight...he should get a massive standing ovation when hes announced and when he comes out for warm ups and pregame but after that he can be booed for all i care...and i love ai as much as anyone

IGY is 100% correct on this one.  AI's the opposition for a team currently in the playoff race.  Honor him after he retires or after he's dead, not when he's still a competitive player for an opposing team.
