You'd rather have Kevin Curtis starting than trade Lito and a 2nd for Chad Johnson?

reese125

yeah.... baffled at that comment. Cinci has no friggin defensive backfield and got shredded all year. Lito is exactly what they need, but that is irrelevant. Lets talk about why your so inclined to keep Lito now, but you want one of the best WR's in the  NFL

ice grillin you

no but its not an either or thing right now

id rather draft a wr or trade for another one than give lito and a second for a guy on the other side of thirty who may want a restructure on his deal and comes with baggage...its not like im anti chad johnson...were he a free agent id have no problems giving him a big deal...but i dont wanna give up all that for him unless maybe it was august and i felt as tho he could make the difference btwn making the superbowl and not

i've never really put chad johnson in the same category as TO when it comes to craziness.  always thought he was more of a talk a lot in a harmless way kind of guy.  it's always seemed like he was a good-spirited dude.  i watched his nfl network thing last night and dude seemed off his rocker.  almost cried a few times and just wasn't really making any sense.  reminded me a lot of TO.

did you see hes starring in some internet tv show called the rookie and his character is a guy named agent ocho....ha

Based on what's on the free agent market and what's in the draft, I don't know how anyone possibly thinks the Eagles can acquire a difference-maker for 2008 at the WR position without giving up something significant in a trade.

It's especially off when the same people are the ones that believe the Eagles' talent scouting and front office management are inept more often than not.

who says they have to trade lito for a wr....i just have a problem giving up a 27 year old for a 30+ year old and then on top having to throw in a second rounder...if im giving up a talent like lito in his prime i want someone im gonna have for the same amount of years lito will be playing at a high level in the league

thats why fitzgerald or roy made much more sense

this is much ado about nothing anyway as i cant fathom any scenario where andy reid takes chad johnson on...he even has the same agent as TO...the similarities are to close for comfort imo

Is this team still supposed to be building for the future?

probably would be a good idea and its definitely a bad idea to be taking steps backwards

I'd gladly trade Lito, a #2 plus all your lives for Ocho Koo-Koo.

In. Except your life...not mine, thanks.

I'd trade my own life for eight-five and a Super Bowl parade down Broad Street.  I'm special like that.

I guess the deal would have to allow you to enjoy the victory first?

I would give up a 2nd and Lito for Chad, but I do agree that he is seeming a lot more like TO as of late. I thought he was different until this offseason. Something about him just doesn't click with reality. But, he hasn't ripped apart a locker room yet like TO has. So, while there are similarities, he isn't as poisonous.

I'd take a chance on him, he's dominant.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
