thats what i said above was one way of looking at it...but i disagree...he wouldnt have went to a random corner if he wasnt getting back in...he would went and got the connect back...

i think he goes to the corner to show that he still can go on the streets and handle himself...that what omar said about him wasnt true...remember the jailhouse blow up when he heard about omar calling him a bitch...i think one last time before he went into the suit and tie world he wanted to prove he still had it
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

The homage they showed towards the first season were well done, like the kids throwing rocks at the community watch camera box.

definitely.  i don't know if anyone else noticed this but the part with sydnor and the judge (forget his name) is basically mcnulty sitting there in from season 1.  kind of alluding that this whole thing is just going to be a cycle with different people.

I think mds alluded to that a few pages ago but that connection/scene was great.

the first thing they showed in the montage was a corner with spider on it. i believe that is the same corner marlo took over, his corner, and he is building himself back up. but even if he is the next stringer or the next joe, his fate is already sealed. his isolated, alone and will undoubtedly die the same way those cats went out.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

BTW, i loved Slim poppin Cheese midsentence.  Classic TV.  And Slim and the big dude as the next guys taking the product from the Greeks was great.

The ending montage with Chris in the yard chilling with Wee-Bey was a good part.  The only thing i wanted to see was what was happening with Avon?

yeah i'm def. a little disappointed that avon wasn't a bigger part of this year.  the teasers early on made me think he was going to be on a lot.  but with only 10 episodes i guess there's not a whole lot of reason to have him back.

the same doods are gonna have the same corners with or without marlo..same tale different head essentially...im just not buying him going down to take over a meaningless westside corner in his suit and tie if hes getting back in the game...if that were the case the montage would have showed marlo meeting with the greeks not slim...cause thats how he would have come back...not messing with some no name corner boys...hes way above that

I just think it was him trying to prove that he comes down to the street, and to see if people respect him.  Obviously things changed quick when he was gone, and he took it as a lesson that even though he's street, he'll move on.

damn...i missed the finale.
did ricky get the 700 on his sat's so he could play at usc???
lemonade was a popular drink and it still is

i think there's a lot that's going on in the marlo street corner scene.  you guys hit on a lot of it but also, he's been on the show for over two and half seasons and yet you never saw him do anything physical.  sometimes you wondered why everyone took orders and was so scared of him.  his tough side has only come out in the last few episodes and even then, just glimpses.
