watch him sign/trade with some weird team like the bucs and the lions re-sign williams long term in hopes the cap will just rise exponentially and then ask players to take pay cuts if it doesn't (a la skins).  then the situation would end in typical philly fashion...hellooooo baskett/avant!

hopefully he wants to win and it isn't so much about the money - that's why this is taking so long, but he's making a stick about the money to get on a winning team, and might as well get paid to do it.

Kent Somers, of The Arizona Republic, reports the Philadelphia Eagles are interested in acquiring Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald via trade. The Eagles have talked to the Cardinals about acquiring Fitzgerald in a trade that would involve CB Lito Sheppard and WR Reggie Brown.

Just checked the article directly and this was left out:

The Cardinals have little interest in either player, and they are not eager to part with Fitzgerald, who made two Pro Bowls in his first four seasons.

Sheppard also has been to the Pro Bowl twice, but there are questions about his durability and he's unhappy with his contract. The Cardinals aren't eager to trade for someone else's problem.
