LOL - whenever Munson thinks your stupid you know you should stick to your guns.

FF, you're not a true fan because you havn't been alive long enough and don't live in Philly. Obviously, you can't speak on any matters pertaining to Philly sports and their fans. Obviously.

you literally have never experienced ANYTHING outside the reid era....i think you were alive for rhodes but you certainly werent of the age where you would pay attention to anything other than your dad getting mad at the tv....

its not a diss its a fact...the diss is that youre a complete and utter tool bag for trying to speak like you know anything...i realize youre of the age where maybe you fingered your first girl last week in the park and now you like to puff your chest n shtein...but son know your spot and like i said absorb knowledge dont try to speak it...especially on shtein you werent alive for

and certainly dont tell other people how they should feel about their teams coaches players ect...no ones telling you

The more you post the more convinced I am you're an escaped mental patient.

The more you post, the more I am convinced you're a 45 year old with no life. Hold on...Andy Reid is doing something to intentionally piss me off. He has the time to do things like that, you know.

Igs, no one on this MB is more misinformed about the game of football then you. Well no that's a lie but you're down there pretty far buddy. Your completely asinine in all of your posts and it's actually fun to read, which is why people like FF keep responding to you. It's like you go fishing without actually trying, because you really think you're right. Keep posting. Just please stop whining about what Andy Reid said in a radio interview.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Igs I was young when Buddy was here but I still remember the teams. My most clear memories are of Kotite though. I remember those disasters. And I remember when Reggie White left. I remember being very upset about it. And I remember listening to the interview on the radio about how god told him this and blah blah blah. And yes I remember Rhodes and Bobby Hoying and all that crap too. Ty Detmer, Rodney Peete, Koy Detmer...fun times.

Who cares what I was alive for? I'm not dumb enough to say things like "Reid said this shtein to intentionally piss people off." Get over it already. Bunch of cry babies.

Cerevant

I believe that Andy would do Eskin a favor and tweak the people listening to the show.  How is Eskin going to get ratings if his fans aren't pissed off?
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

Munson

By throwing out more unfounded rumors for a bunch of dudes on an MB to talk about.

The Eagles came up short in their pursuit of Randy Moss and watched as Javon Walker signed Wednesday with Oakland.

Now, the search for a wide receiver will likely turn to the name most frequently mentioned as their primary target -- Arizona Cardinals wideout Larry Fitzgerald, who remains in contract negotiations with the club that drafted him.

Lions wideout Roy Williams, mercurial Bengals receiver Chad Johnson and Rams veteran Torry Holt are logical choices for the Eagles to pursue if they can't land Fitzgerald.

And based on reports coming out of Arizona, a new deal between the Cardinals and Fitzgerald is imminent.

Earlier this week, Fitzgerald told the East Valley (Ariz.) Tribune that progress has been made toward an extension and restructuring of his contract, which pays him $14.6 million in 2008 and $17.4 million in 2009, the final year of his contract.

Fitzgerald is even speaking like a Cardinal for the long term.

"In January, next year, when we're deep in the playoffs, this thing won't be an issue," he told the newspaper.

The sooner the deal is completed, the quicker the Eagles can move on to other pursuits.

One agent who does not represent Williams told The News Journal that Williams "is definitely on the [trading] block."

Williams, entering his fifth season, made the Pro Bowl in 2006 and had 838 yards and five touchdowns in a 14-game 2007 season. In 2006, he finished with 1,310 receiving yards and seven touchdowns.

But Lions coach Rod Marinelli told reporters at the NFL scouting combine last month that he didn't see Williams going anywhere.

"I'm very confident he's here," Marinelli said, according to MLive.com. "Very confident."

The Bengals have echoed similar sentiments about Johnson, who went public this off-season with his gripes about the franchise. Despite Johnson's eccentric behavior and harsh comments about the team, the Bengals have said that Johnson isn't being shopped around.

"No one within the Bengals organization has ever spoken of or ever uttered anything about trading Chad Johnson. Nor will he be traded," coach Marvin Lewis told the Cincinnati Enquirer in February.

As for Holt, the seven-time Pro Bowler has flown under the trade radar, but the Rams might find their rebuilding effort easier if they trade the 31-year-old star receiver.

Holt, signed for two more years, is slated to make $5.65 in base salary in 2008 and $6.65 next season, excluding bonuses. His agent, Greg Williams, said he called the Rams at the end of the season to discuss their plans for Holt but hadn't heard back.

"I didn't know if they would be rebuilding or looking to trade [Holt] or if he'd be there to play out his contract," Williams said. "I think if they were going to do something, they would let us know. From my understanding, they have every intention of bringing him back
."

Haha this is why people love when you post. You throw out shtein you know nothing about and it's very entertaining to argue with.

Like I said, I was young but I still remember. My earliest memories with my dad and his family all involve Eagles football. I still remember Cunningham, and I definitely remember that defense. I've been raised by extreme Eagles fans and I've watched every game I could. The only games I've missed have been due to playing in my own football games or work at a place I couldn't watch/listen. I followed football very in depth by the time Rhodes was around, I was 8-11 at the time. In fact thats when I really started getting into the draft more, reading the mags and Kipers book. I still remember Mamula being on the cover haha. Hell i've been posting on eagles message boards for 7 years now so I must have been into it a little bit longer then 5 years. Footballs been my whole life IGY, and it's sad that you assume so much about a person you know so little about.

But, again, that's what makes your posts so entertaining. Keep pretending you know all.
