both players can get first downs...fitzgerald gets more because his game is more possesion vs big play...where as roy is used to stretch the field...and more low % throws...the good example is that roy has four plays in his career of 50 plus yards vs fitz one

fitz is a 100 catch guy roy is a guy that can go 100 yards...i prefer the field stretcher as the eagles have enough guys that can catch first downs...not to mention they spread the ball around in the offense so i think a guy who can make the huge play if more what they need than a guy who you would throw to every down

in the end is six of one half dozen the other and is not out of line to think fitz is a better wr....just as its not crazy to think roy is better....but most importantly who would be better for the offense

Excuse me but what good is a receiver capable of getting 100 catches if the only guy on the Eagles who will get near that is Westbrook?

Besides, they already have two receivers who are possession-type guys.

Put Williams, Curtis & Brown on the same field with Westbrook and the Eagles are pretty much unstoppable.  Not that they wouldn't be unstoppable with Fitzgerald but really his skills would probably go to waste with the Eagles anyway.

No top WR's skills are a waste because of a RB's roll in the offense..ever...and Fitz being primarily a possession receiver is borderline retarded. He is an all-around stud
