An ESPN source has stated that Chris Mortensen is about to break a story that Eagles are in serious negotiations to acquire wide receiver Roy Williams from the Detroit Lions. The talks have gone as far as the Philadelphia brass talking with Williams agent on a new deal. The deal is rumored to include cornerback Lito Sheppard and the eagles's second and fourth round picks for Williams and their sixth rounder. It is also believed that the Lions have an interest in Darren Howard. The story should be posted by later this afternoon

i like him cause he has the best combination of the three...hes not old like ocho so he can help win a superbowl this year and next and then give kolb his #1 receiver to grow with

and he has big play ability that fitzy doesnt....YAC IT UP!!!

its a horrible cliche most of the time but roy really is a threat to take it to the house from anywhere on the field....

theres not a huge difference but in my mind that gives him the advantage...kinda like fitzy is michael irvin and roy is alvin harper (but better of course)

Williams has always been my first choice. He doesn't go up for a ball like Fitz can but he's faster and has more big play ability.
