it doesn't matter when your goalie can't stop the other team.

the only reason he made 2 stops in Buffalo the other night is because the Sabres players messed up their shots.

he's a good goalie during the game, but you can't deny that he's flat awful in shoot outs

what Sun said.  Sure they have trouble scoring, but Biron is the worst player ever in the Shootout.

That first minute of the 3rd period was awesome

while watching that meltdown tonight I was thinking how much better off this team would have been to hold onto Hitchcock. I know the igy's of the world will argue that NHL coaches mean squat, but these long ass losing streaks and careless play wouldn't happen as often with a no nonsense coach. Stevens is out of place in the NHL.

stevens is the reason why Richards is the player he is this year...Hitchcock would've never let him develop like this

Hitch would have never put Richards on the Point.  He would never have moved him from the checking role into the offensive role that Stevens has.  Stevens has used Richards the same way he did when they won the calder cup.  Stevens needs to rip into these guys but everyone forgets they are missing Gagne, Lupul, Hatcher, Briere.  One of those guys is a significant loss, 4 is staggering.  The worst part about this shtein game was how great the 2nd period was.  Upshall laid that hit to end the 1st and the 2nd picked up right where they left it.  The third starts, and they are flat as can be.

Richards would have developed one way or another, I firmly believe that.

whatever...the first minute of the 3rd period Coburn and Timonen were on the ice and the team looked like it could have gave two shteins. It's not like the Sabres are putting a team of all stars out there, they just had a greater sense of urgency while the Flyers skated around and made dumb plays. I'm so sick of the look on Stevens face when his team lets in a bad goal. he belongs back in the AHL. farg him and his stupid face.

Anyone catch the replays of that 3rd goal?  Buffalo had 5 guys on the ice in a 4-on-4 for at least 10 seconds and none of the refs saw it

I'm shocked they didn't talk about it on here. It was as blatant as the offsides on the Islanders.  The guy streaking down the ice was the 5th guy....who came off the bench and scored on a farging breakaway...illegally.
