Not sure where he got this from but Gary Papa says the Eagles offered a 2nd + Lito for Fitzgerald and Arizona wants the 1st instead.

If that's true and the Eagles don't move, they are retarded. If they can't turn Lito into an elite WR, the team is just going to wind up packaging him with a 4th or 3rd to trade 1st rounders with Baltimore, where the Birds will get someone way worse than Fitz.

The Eagles hold all the cards here. They can wait it out and see if the Cardinals cave. They will have to move on it soon, because Fitz has them cap strapped with his contract.

I believe the reports that they've had discussions, but I don't know if I'm buying the report that they want a first and Lito. IMO that wouldn't even get it done. I think it would take Lito a 1st and a 2nd to get it done.
