I saw a quote from a Raiders message board that Clemons looked more like 260 pounds than his listed 240. Who knows, but players are sometimes alot different than their listed weight.

Magical_Retard

saw this another sports forum...so do not know if its really reliable:

Quotehttp://blog.washingtonpost.com/taterskinsinsider/:

I mentioned Lito Sheppard a few days ago as a possibility and indeed it was. Despite the fact the Eagles are in the NFC East, Philadelphia has contacted Washington several times about Sheppard in recent weeks - more or less since the combine - knowing the taterskins have a need at CB.

The taterskins rebuffed Philly, however, league sources said. They do not want to do a huge contract right now, they have concerns about Sheppard's ability to stay healthy and they are not inclined to give up high draft picks right now. Philly was probing around on Shawn Springs, hoping to pry him, sources said, with the Eagles believing he could be highly effective at corner as well as safety with them already honing in on Asante Samuel quite some time ago. (The taterskins, meantime, had a lengthy dinner with agent Peter Schaffer during the combine - Schaffer is a big-time guy and Sheppard happens to be a client of his. While I do not know specifically if Sheppard's name came up during that meeting, several parties who happened to be in the same Indy restaurant that night believe it did. Regardless, the Skins have shown no desire to deal for him at this time and the Eagles continue to shop Sheppard).

Yeah, Shawn Springs is basically the same player as Lito, but older and even less healthy.

Well, the word "blog" is attached to it so it has to be true.

yeah i dont know who the guy is how credible he is. some taterskins fan posted it and said the guy is usually right. springs at safety? hmm...

if they traded lito for a move/player like that i would be pretty upset. esp to the taterskins. i would bet lito would return one against the eagles.

That'd be some bullshtein to give Lito up for garbage like that.

I Might have missed it somewhere, but if the comp picks weren't already posted..here they are:

4th round for Donte' Stallworth
4th round for Michael Lewis
6th round for Roderick Hood
7th round Shawn Barber

Sweet...

Nothing for Garcia? Or did the Curtis signing cancel him out?

Only a 6 for Hood?

So wolfman was on SF last night, said that Fitz really is a pipe dream because Arizona is asking a completely absurd price.  Ray Diddy said Williams may still be an option, since the Lions need to upgrade their D.
