Did Mortenson really say we were going hard after Moss or do I need to kick someone in the balls?

Rome

He said that and you should still kick someone in the balls just for the fun of it.

Randy Moss isn't an upgrade?

If Moss hits the market, which is a big if, then yes he's an upgrade.
But as already pointed out in this thread, I don't really think he fits well in the offense.
I'd still take him in a second.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

randy moss fits well in any offense.

randy run long and straight, qb throw long and straight, touchdown.

Coach Marvin Lewis reiterated Wednesday that the Bengals will not trade Chad Johnson and haven't even discussed the possibility.
"No. 1, the guy has a contract through 2011, OK," Lewis said. "Our player (Johnson), we know is very passionate about the game. He continues to play at a very, very high level. He has been very, very productive. He has been well-compensated. We've had a great relationship. That's not going to change."

Moss wouldn't be a great fit for the WCO imo.  He's a great talent.....still the most dangerous WR in the game, but Moss in Philly is a round peg in a square hole.

Sarge hit it on the head.

I'm still sure he'll put up 1200+ and 12+, but for some reason Moss just doesn't seem like he'd be as dominant in a WCO.

Who cares though. If Moss is the upgrade they decide to get, then farg yeah. Moss/Curtis/Brown=Better then any set of WR's they've had here at one time in Reid era.

Didn't Tuna start calling TO "the player" at one point? LOL
"Oh, yeah. They'll still boo. They have to. They're born to boo. Just now, they'll only boo with two Os instead of like four." - Larry Andersen

Not sure about that but I still laugh everytime I even think about when he called Terry Glenn "she."  :-D

Rome

Did Johnson really say the reason he didn't follow through on the trips is because someone died in his family?

Ugh.
