in fact i think all this witch hunting of players is a disgrace while selig goes before congress and get lauded for the stricter testing hes implemented??...outrageous

Selig is definitely getting off way too early in this whole thing.  Especially because I still think this whole Mitchell Report does more damage than good.  It didn't produce any tangable results other than implicating maybe a half dozen notable players and about 70 players that most people don't know or care about.  Whoopty doo.  So far the only damage that's been done is to Clemens.  Bonds showing up in the report was irrelevant since he's been under scrutiny for like 5 years now anyway.  So really, the only thing to come out of this report is that Clemens, one of the games greatest pitchers, did steriods.

Everyone is so focused on that that they are forgetting about the fact that the whole purpose of this investigation was to find out how widespread steriod use was in baseball and to try and get some sort of accurate timefram it was being used.  The timeframe we all know but are we honestly to believe that over the last 20 years, Roger Clemens is the only other major player to juice up?

The investigation was a farging joke and didn't fulfill it's purpose.  Selig and baseball had one shot to finally get all this out in the open so they could address it and move on and they farged that up too.  But rather than that, the investigation and report focuses on a couple of people and the focus is taken away from Selig and placed on them.  If a truly thorough investigation was done there would have been too many names dug up to focus on them and the attention would have had to have placed on Selig.  He's a joke and a disgrace and should have been canned a long, long time ago.

I put Mike and Mike on ESPN2 every morning while I'm getting ready for work and this morning Golic said something very much along the same lines as what I did.  I think he reads the board and bases his commentary on what we say.

I'm not a huge baseball fan, and I have no vested interest here.  But, my god, Selig should be shot.  I still don't understand what the farg he was thinking commissioning millions on a report which, no matter what, would shine a spotlight on the league's problems.  Why not just admit a problem, implement a solution and move on?  Unless they invent a time machine, it's pointless...and there's no way anyone could ever round up all of the right offenders.  Just retarded.

admittedly missed that part but what they're saying now about injecting winstrol too fast and an abscess forming is consistent
