anyone know how to get paint off concrete...like the kind of concrete that would be on the floor of a garage...can you use regular paint remover like terpintine or something

Muriatic Acid

pour that on there and wash it away.

forillaz??....or is this a joke and muriatic acid (whatever that is) will eat away the floor

why are you trying to clean up spray paint of off your garage floor?

cause im about to put my house on the market and i dont think "welcome to south philly" or "king cole" written on the garage floor is much of a selling point

If you intend to sell, you'd be better off clearing out the garage and repainting the entire floor.

SunMo

that's what i was about to say...

if there are literally words and stuff, you should re-paint it, you could actually list that as a improvement done in the Seller's Disclosure..

if it's just some overspray and paint on the floor, who cares, it's a garage, that's what garage's look like

Yes. I've used it before. Just make sure you dilute it properly (it should say how many parts water to add on the container). I believe we bought ours at Home Depot.

My garage floor had paint and oil stains on it from tearing down engine and everything associated with Mustangs on it. We got some of that stuff and it took care of business well.

Buy it, dilute it and use a scrub brush with a long handle and then wash it away and you should be fine.

unless you can just paint where the spray paint is no chance im re-painting....theres way to much shtein id have to move out of the garage and i dont have the time to waste doing it as im going on the market in two weekends....what do you paint concrete with anyway...

sounds like phreaks idea is the best...thanks g

solid chance ill be buzzing (if not worse) when im doing it too

so that garage paint...it says its clear....does that mean i could use it over the spray paint but nowhere else and it wont look awful...i mean obviously it wont match the rest of the floor but will it be blatant to the point where i shouldnt do it
