I had a bacon, egg & cheese on a kaiser roll for breakfast this morning.  It had about four eggs, six pieces of crispy bacon and provolone on it.

It was so incredible it was the kind of sandwich that would cause your underwear to spring a leak.

How the farg does provolone ruin anything?  It's the bacon of cheeses, dook.

That blatant falsehood aside, why would you want an overpowering cheese when you have egg and bacon as the other two ingredients?  Cheese is third place in that trio of flavor.

Because a bacon, egg & cheese breakfast sandwich sorta requires cheese as an ingredient?

And the cheese I use is sharp provolone, not the bland sort of shtein you get at Subway.

i totally agree if you get yours at the A&P...that shtein is horrible...but stop by the italian market in philly or little italy in the rotten apple and get some provolone or even better extra sharp...its one of the best things on the planet

i got a tray of shredded pork and aged provolone for Sunday...that provolone was knocking people on their asses

FWIW it's Auricchio Sharp and it's delicious. 

Mrs. Fantastic shreds it and puts it on top of the macaroni & cheese she makes.

I got a bacon, egg, and cheese (yellow American) on a grilled croissant this morning.  I can still taste it and I want another one.
