you want to see 2 artsy fartsy movies that only elitist new yorkers see and you dont have a sense of humor. besides you reppin' the wire, what exactly am i so supposed to get out of this relationship?
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

crack juice

That shtein is worth it.
It's like what a homeless man who hit it rich would make to drink at his first garden party:
He wants it to be classy and delicious, but b/c he can't leave the street behind, it will still get you farged up.
And it looks like cloudy pee.

Clerks II was on last night.  Really the only redeeming part of that movie is Rosario Dawson but it's worth sitting through the rest of the nonsense to get to her dancing on the rooftop to the Jackson 5's "ABC".

God, I love her.

going to see no country tonight and juno tomorrow

michael clayton is back in wide release....go see it if you can...imo the best movie of last year (so far)

a few recent viewings

the devil came on horseback - chilling documentary that gives a first hand look at the genocide in darfur and how the rest of the world literally is turning a blind eye to it

crazy love - another documentary...about a guy who threw lime in his ex girlfriends face blinding her right before she was to marry another man...its the story of how they actually ended up getting back to gether and remain together to this day...got excellent reviews and was a sundance favorite last year but i found myself to be totally uninterested in the story and was pretty much bored for the whole time

3:10 to yuma - highly overrated...good performances by bale and crowe did not make up for its slow pace and ridiculously terrible ending

horseback 7.5/10
crazy 3/10
yuma 5/10

I've almost rented Crazy Love about a dozen times. I might go grab it tonight. 3:10 to Yuma is on my short list of need-to-rent-it-soon movies.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

Ratatouille - 4/5 - Pixar animation is incredible and story isn't bad either, ending was only okay
LA Confidential - 4/5 sort of knew the story since I caught bits and pieces of it but never sat down and watched the whole thing.

Ratatouille - 4/5

You are becoming a notorious overrater of Disney movies, SD.  Your kid isn't even old enough to appreciate them yet.  What's your story?

Disney movies I remember rating:
Pirates of the Carribean 1 was good, 2 was okay, 3 sucked
Invincible - loved it because I'm an Eagles fan
Ratatouille

Did I miss any?

PoopyfaceMcGee

Pirates 2 = awful
Ratatouille = nearly unwatchable

i havent seen ratatouille and maybe never will but its gotten phenominal reviews...in fact i believe it go tht best reviews of any 2007 movie and lots of people thought it could be up for best picture...so i dont think its crazy to say that its a very good movie

I saw the first 4/5ths of this and didn't really understand the hype. I really, really liked Finding Nemo, and Spirited away so it's not like I don't like kids movies.
It looked really good, but the actual movie was not very funny and kind of predictable.

I think parents go crazy over anything half-watchable after being forced to watch the same Bob the Builder DVD 400 times b/c it is the only thing that will put thier ADD, half-autistic brats to sleep.

Rome

I though Ratatouille was a great movie.  To each his own, though.
