1st and Spikes is way too damn much. I'd say there's an outside shot you could get Williams for a second rounder straight-up. Next year he's a UFA and he's definitely gone. This is the last chance for the Lions to get anything from him leaving.

Rogers is dead weight to the Lions for a lot of reasons, that's basically a poison pill in the trade. I doubt he commands any significant additional value.

IF Philly trades for Williams, it's a 3rd or maybe a 2nd.  That's it.  Hell, Moss was only a 4th for the Pats.

Williams for Eagles 3rd.  Book it.

Moss was a 4th because he had hamstring and character issues, and is around 30. Plus he said publicly he wanted out, which took all leverage away from the Raiders. On top of that, there were only two suiters, so no bidding war. Williams is 25/26, has no lingering injury issues, has no character issues either. The Lions would be moronic to deal him for a 3rd.

I say early to mid 2nd rounder. Maybe even late first. 3rd? no way.

Remember... Moss was dealt for a 4th, but Branch was also dealt for a 1st and Walker for a second.

Cole actually makes sense, despite the fact that Millen is an awful GM why would he just give up Williams for peanuts when almost every team in the league would take him for that? The guy was a top 10 pick, is young and still has an upside. There's no way the Eagles give up anything significant for him when they wouldn't even send a 2nd round pick to SF for TO. I was hoping Chad Johnson was getting shipped and that the Bengals were just looking to rid themselves of him for the sake of the team, that way the Eagles might be interested because he'd come on the cheap.

My problem isn't trading for Williams...its the idiotic thought process that leads anyone to believe that we would be okay without Mikell in the secondary.

I guess they'd have to sign someone would be the most logical answer. I wouldn't want to give up Mikell either but if we're offering say a 2nd and Millen wants Mikell you give Quentin a pat on the ass and say thanks for your contribution to the team have fun in Detroit.
