Shoot 'Em Up - wow...this movie ruled in the vein of absolutely ridiculously bad action movies.  This movie was just like Crank...except it has stars like Clive Owen, Paul Giamatti, and Monica Belucci.  Unrealistic action, terrible dialog, awful one-liners...it was really great.

That movie farging ruled. A lot of it was meant to be completely unrealistic, the producer or whoever said so. Shooting while skydiving? Shooting while having sex? Carrying a baby in your arm like a football while shooting? A+.

yeah, it was awesome...me and my buddy were laughing our asses off

You know the joke about the guy who's parent's told him there were teeth down there?

Alpha Dog - Had been sitting in my TiVo for a while and I just got around to watching it.  I thought it was a pretty good flick.  I was hoping someone would finally step up and knock the shtein out of the Trueblood kid though.  Speaking of which, one of the things that got me in this movie is that Jake (his enemy) never really got any sort of revenge or confrontation with him over the kidnapping.  He screamed on him over the phone and that was it.  Timberlake's performance was 1) a log more prominent and 2) a lot better than I thought it'd be.  He was actually very good.

3.5/5

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Ratatouille- Really kind of enjoyable. But what I didn't get is how the rat could perfectly hear humans, yet they can't hear him. Are we to believe that rats have inadequate vocal cords but audibly everything is fine? What farging brand of rock was the dude who wrote this smoking? Not as good as Toy Story 2, but close. 3/5

Juno- Much funnier than I anticipated. Great performances from everyone, except for Jennifer Garner, who is just annoying. Not only was her character suffocatingly irritating, but she is....not good. And also the fact that George Michael Bluth and Michael Bluth didn't have screen time together is 1000 times worse than anything George W. Bush has over done. Aside from those two minor nuggets of useless nitpicking, this was great. 4/5

I think it was Freddie's review of the Bourne series that made me spend the nickel and dime. and $3.69. for 'The Bourne Identity'.

I was pleasantly surprised. I wanted the movie to keep going. I never cared to see this series because of Matt Damon. I don't hate him, but I also don't picture that guy as a spy/action hero. But I too can be wrong sometimes. Very rare though.

Very enjoyable. A lot of action and a bit outlandish at times. But anyone who watches these types of movies with the 'the shtein ain't realistic' attitude, shouldn't be watching these types of movies to begin with. If you're able to get past that and see the movie as a fan of action, its pretty enjoyable and definitely makes you want to watch the next one. Which is what I did. I did something I have never done before. After watching the first one, I went out and took the movie back the next day...not three weeks later. I also rented the next two movies at the same time.

If you like the Die Hard series, you'll enjoy these. I still have to watch the last two, but I get the feeling I won't be let down.

8 out of 10. For action. Not sucking like I thought it was going to.  Damon actually being believable and making you think YOU can actually pull the same shtein off. Making me want to open an safe deposit box in a Swedish bank so I can walk in and have my hand scanned instead of some teller asking me for I.D. And I want to bang that European chick he was with. Very bad!

I said watch the game and you will see my spirit manifest.-ILLEAGLE 02/04/05

You'll be bummed out when you watch the beginning of the next one, then.

But if you like her, go rent "Run Lola Run".
