Dalembert has been trash recently. Sixers lost by 31 to the Lakers.

Lou Will 8-14 for 17 points.
Jason Smith 10 points 9 boards.
Thad 8-12 for 16 points and 9 boards.

Hes one of the best centers in the league though..ha

he actually is....typical clueless sports fan of you to ride off another cats message board post...especially when he had a big game tonight

ill say it one more time...watch actual games instead of reading message board posts of people you dont know

and again..no hes not

shows you how slick you are Baltimore boy, I watch every Philly sports game, and I have the NBA package. When you ride the nuts off of one center in Philly--the only one you have ever watched--and claim he is one of the best centers in the league...says all too much

SunMo

and when you say Memet Okur is better, that really says all that needs to be said
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

Mo, please just go look at the career stats, but most importantly you need to watch other games as well.

Okur is not lights out and not "one of the best" by any means, but is more versatile--and yes sadly Id rather have him (with other help needed) than Dalembert. His minutes are down a little because of Kirilenko's and Boozers presence, but when he was in there with he absence of them due to injury, he produced consistently--unlike the ever inconsistent Sammy

When your one of the best in the league, your not expendable--Dalembert is and should be with some value in return

SunMo

i don't care about career stats, you could ask any gm in the league who they'd rather have as their starting center and every one would pick dalembert...not even a question

depends on what the team GM is looking for. If you want some points, rebounds with a couple of blocks--sure, Sammy is your guy.

If you want a middle man who can swing it to the outside from the post, get you points and rebounds in the paint, run the fast break, shoot the 3(which is crazy to think and not usually needed) and play with some intelligence--you take Okur

Okur is not overwhelmingly better but IMO, he is....and comparing these two players hurts and is truly meaningless

He's a good player. I don't know how he could be considered a top center since he's so inconsistent. He gets more consistent he's a top center. He still has too many games where he is absolutely not a factor.

Sgt PSN

Dalembert = Good Player

The reason why could be considered a "top" center is because there aren't many true centers around the league anymore.  The days of Wilt, Kareem, Russell, Ewing, Hakeem, etc are long gone.

Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.
