That's exactly what I replied, Mo.

Instead of lying how about you just keep your whore hole shut for a change?  Their love for secrecy and deception is pathological.

Juqua, Abiamiri and Justice were just used as examples of quality and depth. Heckert needs to die.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

Diomedes

To be fair, Juqua deserves mention...he is quality depth.

Juqua is a fine backup.  He's exactly the kind of situational guy who would be great for a team with two dominant defensive ends.  He's no starter, though, but we can't have those types on the Eagles because of the whole 'fastball' thing.

the goal is to sell tickets and jackets, this much we can agree on, right??
No. Both of those types of revenue go into the communal pot for all NFL teams.
The goal is to sell Luxury boxes, in-stadium and other non-TV advertising and any peripherals like stadium food, CSN, etc.
Sorry Dio, we can't even agree on that...

Diomedes

Well, that's what I meant.  So let me rephrase..

the goal is to make money, not win the sb, this much we can agree on, right?

actually ticket revenue is only split evenly during the post season...during the regular season the home team gets 2/3's of the profits and 1/3 goes into the nfl kitty

as for merchandise teams take a larger % of profit on items sold off their own website or their own stores (ie the linc stadium store the lancaster outlet)

the only real monotary reason to make the playoffs is to have a built in reason to raise ticket prices and to sell more gear....its these future profits they are looking for because teams actually lose money by making the playoffs since team costs outweigh the money they get for making the postseason
