baskett is still a work in progress i think. he hasn't developed as much as i was hoping by now but there are things that he does well.....like his blocking as you said.

i really would like to see him on the field in the red zone.....maybe lined up as a tight end in a couple different packages.

And re: FeelEy's contract....since when does ANY player being signed mean they're really "invested" in that player to a point where they wouldn't drop him?

There is no reason to keep him, unless he was okay to go play as the emergency QB.

He has no reason to be on this team. Kolb should be backing up McNabb as of next year...that way he can get into some games when the Eagles are up big or whatever. He's not going to learn to be a starting QB by being the 3rd guy in line.
