ice grillin you

you dont think iguodala would improve with a better team around him one with a running point guard and better defensively....on a team where he wouldnt have to worry about handling the ball as much and he could concentrate on defense and getting out on the break....i think he would improve leaps and bounds and youd have one of the best defenders in the nba and one of the best finishers....thats an invaluable piece of a championship team

if thad young can develop an offensive game and i dont see why he cant hes gonna be real nice too...hes already a good defender and one day i think will be a great one...the sixers need a PF that has been obvious for a while now but almost as much as that they need guys that know how to play defense from 8-18 feet
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

No

Every single player who played had a good game yesterday. Beat Knicks 105 - 77.

Thad Young 7-9 shooting, 14 points, 5 boards in 19 minutes.
Jason Smith 4-5 shooting, 8 points, 9 boards in 24 minutes. He had a ridiculous dunk over someone on a fastbreak too.

BigEd76

beat the Rockets by 11 and it wasn't that close (they were up by 26 after 3)

I finally got to see a game and I loved that they wore the throwbacks again. I want one of those.

phattymatty

3 in a row.  they don't look too bad lately.

i wish they would wear the throwbacks all year.  they are the hotness.

SunMo

there is nothing awful about those unis...understated, great lettering, awesome logo

a lot of it has to do with his position...granted hes not a great player but hes still one of the best centers in the nba and doesnt make obscene money...on the open market he would def garner more interest than iguodala...and i like both

one of the best centers in the NBA? Christ. Hes a hack with an occasional ooooh and aaah. You can put any other average big man in the his spot in the league and he would do the same if not better

I can easily name you ten ahead of him

PoopyfaceMcGee

reese125

Shaq
Howard
Okur
Ilguaskus
Camby
Curry
Ben Wallace
T Chandler
Ming
Stoudamire
Biedrin
Kaman

and you could put more

SunMo

Okur?  stop...he's barely a power forward, much less a center
Ilguaskus is done, he can barely run
Curry sucks
Chandler is not better than Dalembert
Kaman and Biedrin?  please

No matter if you think they are done....they are still better and play ten times smarter than Dalembert.

Your going to tell me Kaman and Chandler are not better than Dalembert? Wow

SunMo

i'm not even a huge Dalembert fan, but i think that list a tremendous stretch...

.....maybe Biedrins and Chandler are on the same level, but you are saying that Kaman is worse than Dalembert? Are you serious? I especially liked the "please" part as if it wasn't even close. I would agree with you...just on the other side.

Dalembert 10.9 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.2 blocks

Kaman 18.5 points, 13.7 rebounds, 3 blocks
Chandler 11.5 points, 11.1 rebounds, 1.4 blocks
Biedrins 11 points, 10 rebounds, 1.5 blocks

ice grillin you

kaman is def better than dalembert

half the other people you named arent centers and dalembert is better or as good as the others...like i said originally hes one of the better centers in the nba...and again i repeat myself for the reading challenged...that isnt saying much because the center position is a joke....but you could do a ton worse than have sammy as your starting nba center and i welcome him as part of the rebuilding phase of this team...at the same time if you feel as tho you can improve greatly at that position then you do it...but the hate on the guy (and his contract) are ridiculous
