Anyone who wants McNabb to still start is a farging moron. McNabb has been total garbage this year. You have to go back to last season until he played a real good game.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

Donovan's the starter next week.

it's going to be ugly after the first incompletion

Donovan better be 30/30 with 4 touchdowns and MAYBE he won't get booed

He's going to get boo'd regardless of what he does. Reid is a moron for saying he's the starter

Munson

Haha Reid's avoidance of the last question was pretty good.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Detroit.

But your main point remains valid.
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

This is not to defend McNabb.  He's been bad most of the season.

But A.J. Feeley's the savior?  Tonight he may have had the best game of his career.  Yet he threw not one, but two terrible interceptions that basically cost the Eagles a chance to win:  one to give the Patriots a touchdown to open the game (and don't forget he nearly threw an identical interception on the last drive), and the one at the end to take away at least a chance to tie.

You want to take McNabb out?  Fine.  At this point, I'd rather see what Kolb has than to start Feeley in some idiotic hope that he's going to somehow "lead" the Eagles into the playoffs.

SunMo

i'm pretty sure Andy would rather talk about his kids at his PC than talk about who his starting qb is going to be.
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

Eaglez

This one hurts.  It sucks that Feeley is going to be the goat because he played so well, but he just got greedy on that deep throw.  He had all the room underneath, yeah well...

Rome

McNabb and Reid should both exit gracefully.  Sadly, it will be ugly, painful and extremely damaging to the organization.

Also - the second interception will go down as one of the worst plays in the history of this franchise.  I just rewatched it again and it was so unnecessary and stupid I still can't believe he threw it.

He made some bad throws no doubt, but the team rallied behind him the way they did Garcia last year. Plus he moved the offense and the team at least had a chance to win with him at QB. Lets not forget the Eagles had 3 pts. when McNabb went down last week then Feeley lead them to victory.

You're right. Stupid of me to forget that. He had a perfect passer rating. Besides that though, anyone who WATCHES the game and puts aside everything McNabb has done for us in the past, he simply isn't an accurate QB right now. All anyone needs to do is go back and look at the film. McNabb was high, low, wide, behind, etc on so many passes. Feeley can run a WCO. He can put balls right on the money between two defenders.

Forget the mobility too. You don't need mobility to be a great QB. In fact most of the best QBs ever weren't that mobile. They just know how to step away from a blitz, and have the accuracy to get balls in tight spaces and arm strength to go down field.

Most importantly, Feeley actually hits people in stride on posts, slants, etc.

another side note is that new england has zero home field advantage. their "fans" were terrible. if indy can get harrison back and healthy, they should be able to give them a game. especially considering manning is a tad better than feeley.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Eaglez

I was definitely impressed with Feeley's accuracy tonight.  But the offensive line just mauled the Patriots all night.  Feeley rarely had pressure in his face, and when he did he stood in the pocket and delivered a strike.

But it all is going to boil down to one play -- he threw that costly INT in the end zone when he didn't need to.  LJ was open underneath and they had plenty of time in great field position.  It was a boneheaded play and it will overshadow his whole night.  It is a shame, because the Eagles really could have carried that momentum.  I'm not sure how the team will take this loss, I'm sure it is demoralizing to be so close and not come out with the W.

The BIGSTUD

That one play was a DUMB play by Feeley, but it would be absolutely moronic to bench him right now because of that one throw right now. If McNabb comes back we all know this offense is going to be inconsistent, sporadic, and out of control all over again. Throwing balls all over the place, etc.

Rome

There's a lot of reasons why Feeley shouldn't have thrown that ball but the worst of them is that Brady would have gotten the ball back with over three minutes of clock left if they had scored right there.  That's way too much farging time for those guys, period.
