Vanity Fair does some of the best, unbiased, writing I've come across lately. I always thought it was just another girl mag, but they have some really good shtein in there.

Dude, best of luck. For real. Like a lot of people, my feelings on this whole situation are far beyond disgust. I have a close friend who enlisted during the spring and he's over there now. When he told me of his decision I wanted to plead with him to reconsider, but I don't feel I have a right to do so. He's a grown man and can think for himself and as a friend, I'll always have his back. People like you amaze me. Despite whatever apprehension you may have, you don't bitch and moan or whine.
