will one of you faggggggots please go see michael clayton already

according to America via the box office #s, Michael Clayton is good, but it's no Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married?

Ha!  Black people are stupid.

That is really what you were saying wasn't it? Racist.

I'm thinking about spending money to watch a movie. I'm thinking about watching Rendition when it comes out, if it hasn't come out already.

I'm thinking about it.

Then again, I could always google "muslim-ameircans", "patriot act", "US Gov't", "War in Iraq", "Terrorism", "National Security", and save my money.

I said watch the game and you will see my spirit manifest.-ILLEAGLE 02/04/05

Went to an advanced screening of Gone Baby Gone last night.  I knew nothing about it going in other than it was directed by Ben Affleck.  Obviously, I did not go in with high hopes.  But it was one of the better movies I've seen in a long time.  Casey Affleck is a pretty good actor.  Ed Harris is good as always.  And a really great supporting cast.  Even Morgan Freeman is better than he has been lately.

Anyway, really good story too.  About half way through you think it's over and get pissed, but then its not.  Has a very good ending, not your typical generic hollywood crap.  Makes you think about what you would do in the same situation.

Definitely surprised me, it's a gritty movie that makes you think and laugh and not puke.  I'd say a 4/5.

What is Michael Clayton even about? I literally know nothing about it other than the fact the George Clooney looks serious and distraught in the commercials. Is it another story of corporate immorality with a main character who decides to risk his career/family/life to do the right thing? Who farging cares. That's not entertainment. That's sitting in a theater for 2 hours to be lectured under the guise of entertainment. BOOOO.

i thought the exact same thing after seeing the tv commercials for it.

all they show is clooney saying things like "got your heart racing dont i?" and then show some old lady looking worried....some old man yelling "someone stop that man" and boom the commercial is over.

clayton is in the mold of 'the firm'....tho infintely better...id describe it as a combination of 'the firm' and 'a civil action' but its made in the mold of great 70's paranoia films like the conversation

tom wilkenson will win the best supporting oscar for it guaranteed...all the acting performances are top notch

and while ill never predict a best picture oscar for anything cause the academy are a bunch of nimrods....this absolutely should win

actually it has very little to do with doing the right thing....and more about suspense and paranoia...its a great throwback 70's type movie...which was probably the best decade ever for cinema...if thats not for you you can always rent 300
