like anyone is really surprised she was doping

also...I hear some people saying that the other's on her team shouldn't have to give up their medals.  WRONG.  They all lose because she cheated.  Their problem should be with her, not with the people taking their medals away

Agreed on both parts.

True talk.  What makes all this really funny is that in cases like this, when a gold medalist is stripped of the medal, it's supposed to go to the silver medalist.  Oh, except that one of the silver medalists who finished 2nd to Jones was already busted for doping.

For someone who is supposedly pro-drug I find your position on this issue to be curious to say the least.

Personally I think athletes should be able to take whatever substances science can come up with.  If they want to enhance their performance at the risk of their own long-term health then who are we to tell them they can't?  Shoot up, load up, and dope up as much as you want - just don't come crying to me afterwards looking for a handout when your body is destroyed by age 40.

My favorite part of her press conference was when she used the old Barry Bonds flaxseed oil cream excuse and blamed her coach. Wrong bitch, you knew what you were taking and kept taking it. Anyone who's ever been on a performance enhancer knows damn well that they're on it.

This thread obviously just took a turn for the serious.  But.......

My guess is that Dio is pro-weed and not much more.  Maybe shrooms or something.  But performance enhancing drugs are wrong and take away the true nature of sport and athletic competition.  It's a baseball game or a marathon or a sprint.  Not a science fair project.  Why should the athletes who chose not to shoot up be penalized because they don't want to harm their bodies?

The fact that the good ol' CF crew will start screaming from soapboxes at the drop of a hat is damn sure more dependable than Winston Justice.

I quess it's only a matter of time until the Chinese roll out the All Drug Olympics ... I'd watch it :yay :yay...7.0 100M, 12Ft. High Jumps, 30' pole vault, 1500M in 2min and change, 200ft. shot out, 40' broad jump.  It will not necessary for winners to surviver until the awards ceremony

Athletes can shoot themselves up with farging AIDS for all I care.

I seriously couldn't care less if they cheat.  I'd be happy as hell if the queers who wear Philly uniforms would cheat because it's damn certain they can't win otherwise.

PoopyfaceMcGee

Half the team was on roids in 1993, and the Phillies still couldn't get it done.

Rome

Exactly.  If Mitch was on roids he would have beaned Joe Carter instead of tossing a 74 mph gopher ball.

Roids = Championships.

Fo real.
