Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Don Ho

this thread may be the best ever!  some classic stuff. :-D

Butchers Bill

I believe I've passed the age of consciousness and righteous rage
I found that just surviving was a noble fight.
I once believed in causes too,
I had my pointless point of view,
And life went on no matter who was wrong or right.

The pull out method

You know, that seems to sum up the logic behind Reid's game plans...

"Well, it worked last time..."
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

The single-most dependable thing in the universe is the Eagles PR Department's ability to get the Reid Message Spin out clear as a bell.

Read this if you can without punching your fist through your computer monitor:

QuoteThe only question surrounding the running backs is how much of a load can they carry? With the inconsistency of the passing game, many are calling for the team to put the ball in Westbrook's hands even more, but there is a fine line between feeding a running back the ball and wearing him down. With Westbrook banged up already, it will be important for Buckhalter to continue his strong play.

So let me get this straight - it's perfectly acceptable to permit your franchise quarterback to absorb a staggering 12-sack night but we have to be careful about wearing the running backs down?

This shtein hurts my head, man.  HURTS.

it reads "it will be important for buckhalter" but what it should read is "with westbrook being injury prone and mcnabb taking a beating THE EAGLES should split carries and give buckhalter more duties on the offense".

i wouldnt be opposed to 15 carries to buck and 15 to westbrook.

maybe andy really wants mcnabb to get hurt again so the kolb era can begin.
