Hoping they win and foolishly expecting it are two very different things.

PhillyGirl

I don't think anyone is expecting it. I sure don't.

But I am hoping they do.

Reports from Philly and Pittsburgh this morning are saying that Amaro will be the new GM of the Astros and he's going to hire Ed Wade as a senior adviser...  :-D

Wait a second... Phreak's moving to Houston next week and now Ruben Amaro's getting the GM job there too?

Coincidence?  I think not.

I love it.

Now I will get to rub those two no talent assclowns in the faces of the Houston fans.

Have fun with them, Houston. :yay

Freaking Mesa gives them 2 innings and Barajas wins the game. Unreal.

Said the exact same thing last night...except I couldn't watch Blue Glove pitch. I kept expecting to hear Harry give us another "oh, no"...

I wonder if he's purchased his jersey yet.

When they brought Pujols out to face Mesa, I was waiting for "*crack*....goodbye....that's way outta here...".  At least Mesa used his brain for once and didn't give him anything to hit.  Pujols might miss tonight's game too...

You're assuming Mesa made a calculated decision and executed it well?

I was thinking that he was just missing his spots.
