Black Dunn set a new franchise record for Ks in a season, breaking Thome's 2003 mark of 182.  He still has 2 weeks to go for the MLB record and did all of this while missing 18 games...  :yay

I'm almost certain that he'll break that record but as long as he keeps hitting home runs, driving in runs and being a pretty good performer in the clutch then the strikeouts will be overlooked.  Especially if this team happens to dumb their way into the postseason.

Howard's inability to get the bat on the ball in key situations and otherwise is one of the most expected and one of the least severe causes of their suckitudinessity.

Phils up 6-0.  Homers by Howard, Rowand (2-run) and Rollins (3-run).

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

oh shtein, here come the cardinals and mesa on the mound, 12- 8,  farg.

They're trying to kill me.  They're trying to give me the heart attack.

WHY was I born in Philly, to root for these crappy teams?!?!?!?

Actually Condrey farged it up, Mesa got out of it with minimal damage

And the Mets lost, too. What a great day to blow an 11-0 lead  :-D
