Sgt PSN

Watching a game in a titty bar would be impossible as it would be unforgivable to take your eyes off either.  Unless you've got one of those crazy eyes that would allow you to do both.

Rome

It was my buddy's 40th birthday party and that's where he wanted to go.

Whatever. . . buffet, football, booze (all free, btw). . . not a bad way to spend a Thursday night even in this godforsaken hell hole.

If the Eagles defense looks bad, then this Saints defense is just pop warner. What a joke they are.

The Colts do that to everyone though, including the Eagles whenever they happen to meet. What did strike me though was how good the Colts D was... they kept last year's top offense out of the endzone the whole game.

You never are as good or as bad as you look. I'd say the Colts won't look as great as they did tonight and the Saints won't look as bad, but I still think the Saints played over their heads last year. Brees is good, but not that good, and their defense flat out sucks. Will Smith is pretty good, but Charles Grant is the epitome of average, and they have no LBs or secondary. On offense, Colston has to prove he isn't a one year wonder and Henderson is nobody special.

If you can contain Bush their offense goes to shtein because he is what opens up that entire offense. Their defense can be cooked all day long.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

Madden was surprisingly cogent tonight.

And looking trim too.  I was half expecting Micheals to tell him, 'that suit doesn't make your butt look big at all, John."

This should serve as a nice reminder that people were expecting the Saints to suck pretty bad last year, and they just might fulfill that expectation this year.

Seabiscuit36

How bad did Brees look, the guy has a worse noodle arm than Garthia.  Henderson wont get used at all in that offense since Brees cant throw more than 20 yards

umm you guys are over reacting after one game. i doubt this game will be any indication of the saints season. they have too many weapons. they were just playing a superior team.

as good as it was to watch the saints lose....that farger brees already lost me my week 1 matchup in FF.

i didnt get their game plan at all...all they did was screens and short dump off passes. did they even attempt a deep pass?

QB Eagles

Ellis Hobbs just ran back a kickoff 108 yards to start off NE's second half.

Geowhizzer

Pennington just got hurt - managed to hop off the field but unable to put any weight on his leg (didn't even wait for an injury time out).  Not a doctor, but judging from the replay, it could easily be a season-ender.

The Jets fans gave a big ovation when the back-up QB went on the field.

Geowhizzer

Like I said, I'm no doctor.  According to Yahoo, Pennington's back in the game.  :-D

QB Eagles

Nothing unexpected, but Kansas City and Atlanta are god-awful this season.

QB Eagles

Joey Harrington has two pick-sixes thus far.

QB Eagles

Houston 20, KC 3. Getting painful.
