MDS

either 5-5 or 6-4 overall. they phils tend to play well against the padres and the dodgers suck. it all comes down to whether they can split that 4 gamer with the muts.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Rome

I think they've run out of gas.

4-6 at worst, 6-4 at best.

SD_Eagle5

5-5
anything more I'll be shocked - anything less not so much

6-4 would be a coup. They've blown their wad. I think it happened when Alfonseca looked dominant against the Nats, and did the dance that guy Flamenco did in Mike Tyson's Punch Out.
"The very existence of flamethrowers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, "You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.""  R.I.P George.

the one advantage they have is that they only face two lefties on the homestand and those are against the mets who they are most likely gonna lose 3 of 4 to anyway

ha, I thought he looked like a drunken vagrant. I was at the Sunday night game vs. the Braves. After he whiffed a brave to bail Moyer out he did his dance and my g/f turned to me and said wtf was that?

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Correct.  Absolute best-case scenario... and this is assuming a sweep in San Fran.

MDS

Doubtful they'll get it in today. Looks like they'll be a DH on probably Thursday, which means they need an extra starter for Sunday, or else send Kendrick on 3 days rest.

Doubtful that you're right. Rain has stopped, tarp is off.
