millers crossing is an all around ensemble domination...i can put the movie up there with the best ever but not any one performance...or i could and be as weak as the rest of you
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

Someone went to IMDB.com's home page today, huh?


Johnny Depp's best character is probably Jack Sparrow... but I think his most underrated performance is as Mort Rainey.  Note that John Turturro is a key factor in that as well.
