Gaither wasn't a bad pick so far.

QuoteEAGLES UPDATE: One rookie impresses, another struggles
By STEFEN LOVELACE, The News Journal

Wide receiver Dereck Faulkner had the most impressive catch of the day during the Eagles' 7-on-7 workout this morning. Unfortunately, it didn't count.

Faulkner, a rookie out of Hampton, jumped high on the left sideline and hauled in a pass from quarterback Kelly Holcolmb. He planted his right foot down and attempted to drag his left foot, but went out of bounds before getting both feet in.

Wide receiver Jeremy Bloom caught a touchdown from rookie Kevin Kolb. Bloom was in traffic as he was being shadowed by safety Chris Smith, but still got the grab. Smith tackled Bloom in the endzone and lost his shorts in the process. Smith's shorts slid down his knees, but he quickly hiked them back up after the play.

Linebacker Akeem Jordan, a rookie out of James Madison, didn't have a strong showing today in his quest to make the Eagles roster. On two different passing plays, he was beat trying to cover quicker players. Fullbacks normally aren't known for their speed, but Jason Davis burned Jackson on one play.

As expected, Donovan McNabb did not practice today.

With a name like that, you'd have to assume the porno career didn't work out.

i don't usually buy into the media trying to stir up shtein, but Sal Pal definitely does that everytime he's on DNL.  Today he's trying to turn the fact that the Eagles are using the shotgun in practice into Donovan's not as healthy as he's letting on to because the Eagles don't use shotgun.  Never mind the fact that the Eagles have increased their shotgun usage every year.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.
