San Diego won both series last year

Mets have a 5-4 lead, bottom of the 10th

what do I know
Obvioiusly not as much as Ed, he knows Stuff
I saw them lose series firsthand in SD over the last 5-10 years so I have no idea what I was thinking. Must be the beer talking.

Mets hold on to win 5-4 and take 3/4 from the Dodgers, so the Phils made up no ground on the Mets this week.  If the Cards win tonight, the Phils will make up 2 games on Atlanta.  They're also only 3.5 out of the wildcard.

Nats and Pirates this week

MDS

A good team would lose 1 game tops to those team. The Phillies will be lucky to win 3.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

You're right....they've usually beaten the Padres since Bowa took over in 2001.

2007 - TBD at home, 3/4 at San Diego
2006 - 1/3 at home, 1/3 at San Diego
2005 - 3/3 at home, 3/3 at San Diego
2004 - 2/3 at home, 3/3 at San Diego
2003 - 2/4 at home, 2/3 at San Diego
2002 - 1/3 at home, 1/3 at San Diego
2001 - 2/3 at home, 3/4 at San Diego

pretty much

i havent looked at the rotation but the nationals in particular have the kind of sneaky good pitchers that will shut down the phils offense

i say 2 of 3 from shteinsburgh and lose 2 vs wash
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

BigEd76

TUE = Kendrick vs Jason Bergmann
WED = Hamels vs Matt Chico
THU (day) = Eaton vs Mike Bacsik
FRI = Moyer vs John Van Benschoten
SAT = Durbin vs Shane Youman
SUN = Kendrick vs Ian Snell

Unless Snell is moved up to Saturday, the Phils will avoid Tom Gorzelanny

MDS

They might get Myers back for the homestand, which would be nice. And Gordon's arm hasn't fallen off yet. So that's a plus.

I missed the game today and was a little surprised to hear Real Deal pitched so well. But then again, he threw well he last two times before this so maybe they found a little something with him. Who knows.
