I just took in "Breach" and my monthly free coupon to the Blockbuster store and picked up "Alpha Dog" and "The Last Mimzy" (which has a ghey name but is supposed to be somewhat OK).

The Red Box at my local grocery stores always has a line like 10 people deep.

i might be dropping blockbuster soon too.  now that i'm done catching up on the sopranos i just let the movies sit around for weeks at a time.

The summer DVD season is very slow.  You'll probably start watching again when the released movies suck less.

FF - Did you noticed that freakin bump on Phillippe's forehead? That was buggin me out all through the movie, haha

Reese probably beat him severely when she found out he was cheating.  And yes, I noticed.

He was at least passable at moments.  Mostly because the guy he's playing is a douche in real life, it seems.

I want to see this, mostly because I'm a fan of Steve Buscemi's acting and Sienna Miller's lady parts.

Shooter - 2.75/5 - Jason Bourne meets Lee Harvey Oswald. Some cool snipe scenes
Harsh Times - 2.5/5 - probably liked this more than I should of. Bale was good (didn't realize it was him till the credits rolled) but I had to feel his character out because my first impression was they were just mocking gringos who try to act loco.
Munich - 3/5 - half hour longer than it should have been

Also watched "Ghost Rider".  Meh.  2/5 for some semi-cool action scenes.  Nick Cage is too old to play the part.

Finally saw Transformers yesterday.  Pretty damn good movie.  Like everyone else pretty much said, top-notch SFX and action... funny and all that.

4/5

My only gripe in the movie...

AND THIS COULD BE CONSIDERED SOMEWHAT OF A SPOILER FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T SEEN IT

Just like in any other movie where the token black man dies... why the farg does the token black robot (Jazz) have to be the ONLY Autobot to die?!?!?!

useless but nonetheless interesting tidbit from it

The movie, directed by Kasi Lemmons (most remember her "Eve's Bayou" with pleasure; some remember her as Clarice Starling's roommate in "The Silence of the Lambs")

btw in the last ten years is there a better actor than don cheadle...i think not
